Suicide Awareness and Prevention Through Connection and Whole-Health Practices

The Siotha Project supports veteran suicide prevention by fostering social connection, purpose, and holistic well-being. Our creative arts therapies—including music, writing, yoga and breathing techniques—offer outlets for expression and healing, reducing isolation and promoting emotional growth.

​

We also facilitate and partner with adventure-based experiences that reduce PTSD symptoms while strengthening confidence, camaraderie, and trust.

GROUP EXPERIENCES

​

STRETCH AND RESTORE CLASS

This trauma-informed therapeutic class restores balance to the body and mind. You'll hold poses longer and focus on deep breathing to calm the nervous system and relax the muscles. Great for beginners and all levels.

​

RECREATIONAL RUCKING

No-pressure rucks that are geared towards building relationships and improving strength and endurance. Rucks can be modified and vary with distance and location, pack/vest weight preferences and physical abilities.

VETERAN GROUP SESSION

(co-led with Kyle Gambol, former U.S. Marine Corps)​

This talk-based session is for veteran groups who would like to connect with others and improve their mental health through communication and wellness tools. ​

RESTORING RELATIONSHIPS WORKSHOP

(co-led with Kyle Gambol, former U.S. Marine Corps)​

This 1.5 hour co-facilitated veteran workshop provides individuals support and resources to build and restore healthy relationships at home and in the workplace. Focusing on conflict resolution skills and communication tools, workshops are booked through a 10-minute discovery call.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

SONGWRITING / CREATIVE WRITING WORKSHOP

Songwriting and creative writing workshops can help improve mental health by providing an outlet for expressing emotions, processing experiences, and fostering self-understanding and release.
