Hi, I'm Jenn, Founder of The Siotha Project. Over the past 15-years, I've explored how the creative and healing arts support quality of life and healthy relationships with ourselves and others. My diverse work experience, education, and life experiences have provided me conflict resolution tools and methods to share through The Siotha Project. The name Siotha derives from the Shawnee language and my great-grandmother lineage, and this project takes into account history, culture, psychology, physiology, and more to equip us with everyday peacemaking skills.
My early years started with a B.A. in English and work in the wellness field, teaching and training in yoga, boxing, krav maga, and bodywork. I gained my 2020 Masters' degree in International Affairs (emphasis in Conflict Resolution and Global Negotiation). After graduate school, I parlayed business skills with the arts offering branding, marketing, and events through entrepreneurship and my own creative agency. In 2023, I gained the opportunity to move into a statewide public-servant role and oversee music development for the Oklahoma Film + Music Office. Additionally, I'm a singer-songwriter with Willow Way and mama to my 12-year-old daughter and two quirky pups.
Throughout the journey, it's been important to me to move forward the peacemaking and conflict resolution skills I've been so passionate about. Feel free to explore the site and learn more about me below and about what I can share/offer.
I hope our paths cross soon!
Gratefully,
Jenn
