Every January, we’re told it’s time for resolutions — big, bold declarations about what we’re going to fix, stop, or finally “get right.” But for many of us, resolutions can feel heavy or rigid, and by February they often come with a side of guilt. Intentions offer a softer, more sustainable approach. Instead of focusing on an outcome, intentions focus on how you want to show up — in your work, your relationships, and your day-to-day life.

An intention isn’t about perfection or pressure; it’s about alignment. It gives you something to return to when things get busy or messy. Rather than “I will work out five days a week,” an intention might be “I want to feel more connected to my body.” That shift leaves room for real life while still guiding your choices. Intentions can evolve as you do, and they tend to create momentum instead of burnout.

If you’re craving clarity for the year ahead, I’m offering New Year’s mapping sessions for anyone who wants support turning reflection into direction. Together, we’ll look at what you’re carrying forward, what you’re ready to release, and how to create realistic next steps rooted in your values and goals. Think of it as a grounded, intentional way to begin the year — with purpose, not pressure.

Cheers,

Jenn
